Art

This home is filled with beautiful original & one-of-a-kind art commissioned by the family including mural-sized Asian silk tapestry and detailed watercolors. There is a collection of signed and numbered lithographs from local Asian artist as well as pieces brought by the family from China.

The estate contains an excellent carved Jade large, stout statue of the Chinese God of Wealth & Prosperity - Cai Chen, it must be seen to be appreciated as the photos do not do it justice, same goes for the original & unique mural-sized painting and tapestry.

Furnishings

The estate contains a large collection of Rococo Period reproduction sofa, chairs, gold gilded tables, all handmade. One of the showpieces is a hand-cut and carved Rococo-style sideboard with mirror. It has beautifully rendered burl wood veneer throughout and exquisitely made hand-carved gilded framed mirror.

There is a small collection of antique Asian furnishings and home accents and there is a Victorian reproduction complete bedroom set with vintage porcelain lamps, a Dale Tiffany lamp and various framed art.

The large area rug collection from this home is in perfect shape and the knap of the rugs and weave is almost 1 1/2" thick and made of 100% wool. There is a 12' x 14', 9'x12', 8' x 11' and one 5' x 8' - all at the best prices for such high-quality perfect condition, hand-woven showroom quality area rugs.

There is a collection of contemporary family-room furnishings including a small couch and side chair, numerous Chinese side chairs, a pair of Florentine-inspired inlaid corner cabinets, and a small kitchen/covered patio bistro set. Therre are many other home accents at affordable prices throughout the house.
