Parlor Suite SET- Mahogany and walnut panelled parlor suite, ornately carved show frames, having arched crestings with central circular reserves of classical Spartan heads, panelled padded backs, armpads (where applicable) and stuff-over seats upholstered floral and figural petite pointe embroidery, arm terminals carved with warrior masks, raised on turned, tapered andp art fluted front supports, brass caps and castors, comprising: 1) canape, triple panel back, with bolster cushion. 2) Pair of arm chairs (of very similar design). 3) Pair of standard chairs. Attributed to John Jelliff, Newark N.J. Circa 1850, (very similar suite in the Newark Museum).
